Hello,

Does anybody know if the German build in Norway some kind of calibration tool, to calibrate the airplane compass ?
In Belgium whe have one (Grimbergen) , in the Netherlands 2 (Gilze and Dronten).
For a picture, please check the link.

As far as I know, there are different type.
At Gilze, the concrete in the center is replaced by a wouden contruction, with different rooms below the ground level.
I have no more information about the Belgian one.

Anybody an idea ?

Thx.

Johan

I have no idea, but I recall an object at Høybuktmoen being discussed in here before (check photo on top of this page: http://www.kystfort.com/forum/viewtopic ... 72&p=61274 ). Perhaps something similar?

They did have one at Sola, just outside Stavanger. You can still see the remains today in Google Earth at 58°53'37.96"N 5°37'59.39"E .
