My mistake about the R636...... I thougt the old artillery bunkers where re-used for the other guns. on photos i found it seems that it are those bunkers.

The mix up must have something to do with the cold war, maybe there lies the reason the name Grötavär II pops up. On the list i have Elgsnes is not present within any artillery group, so i got the idea this is the same battery as HKB 13/983 Grötavär II. Also i wonder wich atillery group HKB 13/983...

It is clear to me now. When i take a look at the photos, the bunkers appear to be built in German style, but in a way different.
I suppose that this fort didnt play any role in the Atlantikwall.

Hello,

I recieved photos from Dietl for our Atlantikwall website. But we cant figure out if Rödbergodden is the same battery as HKB 21/972 Rödberghamn, or a different battery.
Rödbergodden is aprox. 836m 346 degree north of Rödberghamn.

Can anyone help us to solve this ?
