Hello Thank you Rolf for Your interesting postings With details of the Küwas, MSS and Küstenhorchanlagen in Norway. As mentioned by Tarjei the KHA Bergen-Süd was at Korsneset, close to MAA 6/504. Addeda photo that shows the position of the barracks to the men of the KHA Bergen Süd. regards Paul S.

Interesting. What kind of listeningdevices were in use at these sites?
I'm sure I have read somewhere that only 13 KHA-sets were produced, but when you add these sites to the ones already known (ref the US Seacoast Defence-report and other info found in NARA T-1022 ++), the number of KHA-locations in Norway and Denmark will probably exceed 20.
Is 13 sets correct or were there more than one type of equipment in use?

Hi! Natter wrote: What kind of listeningdevices were in use at these sites? Sorry, I don't have any further information about the KHA's. I just thought, this could be interesting for you and I wanted to give something back after you helped me with the MPHS in Norway. viewtopic.php?f=40&t=5717Best wishes Rolf

I have checked some of the available documentation, and it seems there were at least two different systems (maybe more) designated "KHA", but I suspect some confusion on this topic due to the term "Küstenhorchanlagen / KHA" might have been used both as a designation for a specific type of listening device, as well as a genereal term for this type of unit..? nordfriese wrote: I just thought, this could be interesting for you It is for sure

Interesting - I think this must have been the first KHA-installation in the Ofotfiord, later replaced by the installation at Barøya, a bit further west (just from the top of my head, I might remember it wrongly. I reckon Thomas L knows for sure...)?

Snublet over nettsiden din via nettet på jakt etter noe annet. Veldig bra og lærerikt. Bildene av Bogen og den britiske miniubåten oppfører seg litt rart i Chrome, havner liksom i bakgrunnen. Ser at du har referert til Indicator Loops nettsiden, denne kan anbefales for spesielt interesserte (Natter). http://indicatorloops.com/Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
