Hi All

This is my first post in this forum. For a long time interested in the issue of the German military.
On your website forum is conducted at a very high level, very professionally.
So I'm looking for information on bunkers located near Vatne.
Explored this area and came across the four bunkers, two of them have tranches intake. In the area is probably more of them.
Does this place was the artillery battery, and objects can have different purpose.
For now, I attach a situational sketch. Maybe Tuesday will join the pictures of those objects.

Regards

Jarek

Hello Jarek!
Welcome to the forum!
Can`t help you much on this as I`ve never been at this place myself....
However, I doubt that this is a battery, as no German maps seems to fit...
Only thing I`ve found so far is what seems to be a company size strongpoint, belonging to 9. Kompanie/Grenadier-Regiment 516.
Some photos would be nice! ;-)

Hi
When I attach the following photos of these objects, the metric to throw on Saturday because I intend to thoroughly go through the whole area and can find something more interesting?
So @ ERIK E thank you very much for this information for sure Follow the fortunes of this regiment.
For me these places more fit for combat bunkers or warehouses.

Regards

Jarek
